For example, you can put together the relevant Boards for a department and share it with the employees of that department to make sure you and they work with the same information structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When there are changes i.e. new Boards get created, you can easily add these new Boards or even change the structure of the Board Collection to align everyone\u2019s common understanding. These hierarchies let you manage the amount of detail you wish to view. Here is the basic hierarchy to get you started:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Boards Level<\/strong> At the highest level there are the Board Collections. They consist of Board Groups, which contain Boards. Each Board can be contained by many Board Groups and consequently by many Board Collections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cards Level<\/strong> Going deeper into a Board you will find Board Lists. On Board Lists there are Cards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sub-Cards<\/strong> Inside of Cards there are Sub-Cards that can exist in the same Board or also in other Boards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Beyond Sub-Cards<\/strong> As you would expect a Sub-Card can have another set of Sub-Cards and so on.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><br>You can build your own \u201cFlight Levels\u201d (hierarchies) according to your business needs and restructure them whenever you think you need to keep up with the changes. The higher you \u201cfly\u201d, you have more of an overview with fewer details. The lower you \u201cfly\u201d, you can see more details but no longer the entire landscape. On each level KanBo uses different aggregation mechanisms to consolidate and display information in the most intuitive way.
