Office 365 Best Add-in reward goes to KanBo

Office 365 Best Add-in – we’ve got it! It’s been a great week for the KanBo team! I was able to travel to Dublin, Ireland last week to participate in the 6th European SharePoint, Office 365, and Azure Conference (#ESPC17), where KanBo had been selected as a finalist in three ESPC17 Community Awards:

  • Best Management Solution,
  • Most Innovative SharePoint Solution,
  • and Best Office 365 Add-In.

Being recognized in three categories is already an accomplishment, but I was happy to have the chance to attend the evening cocktail reception at the Convention Centre Dublin (CCD), and spend all day Wednesday meeting with partners and customers in the expo hall.

Office 365, Receiving the ESPC17 award with keynote speaker Rafal Lukawiecki SharePoint ESPC Community Award AzureDuring the Wednesday morning keynote address, the event team announced several of the Community Award winners – and KanBo received the award for Best Office 365 Add-In for our entry “Extending Portfolio Management for Office 365”! We’re thrilled to win an ESPC Community Award for a third time, along with our 2014 award for Best Social Strategy from the ESPC event in Barcelona, Spain and Best Mobile App for SharePoint in 2012 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

As I mentioned in a press release earlier today, this award is further proof that KanBo is moving in the right direction, providing a solution that meets a growing need within the SharePoint, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams customer community.

Since the early days of the product in 2011, KanBo has been focused on building an enterprise-scale solution that gives organizations a contextual and highly visual way to organize teamwork – and to better capture the knowledge that is generated through collaboration. Leveraging Kanban lists and cards as a container for all work activities and conversations, KanBo ensures that every activity has the context to a relevant project, task, or conversation within SharePoint, whether online or on-premises or Microsoft Teams.
